Peter W. Post, CFP^®

Registered Investment Advisor

Peter has been helping people achieve their financial goals since founding the firm in 1996.

1972 graduate of Middlebury College with an additional Bachelor of Science from The University of Vermont, he owned and managed a wholesale tree nursery business and co-founded two food manufacturing businesses before turning to the financial services industry in 1993.

Peter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor, and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) . He is a Registered Investment Advisor, registered in the states of Vermont and New York and also providing services in most other states in accordance with their respective regulations regarding number of clients permitted to out-of-state registered investment advisors. He also holds a Vermont Life Insurance/Variable Life and Annuity License for the purpose of advising clients on variable annuities and insurance issues, but he does not sell insurance products or receive commissions in any form.

A Vermonter for over 40 years, Peter has an avid interest in conservation and the environment, natural history and wildlife and enjoys birding, wilderness hiking, hunting and fishing, as well as gardening and landscaping. He also plays squash and takes advantage of Vermont's winters to ski, cross-country ski and snowshoe.

He’s been married for 30 years to Kathleen, a Suzuki violin teacher, and they have two adult children.
